Description:
The Delta Lightning Arrestor LA602-DC is a lightning surge arrestor that can handle high current surges too large for an MOV or capacitor. Very similar to the LA302-DC (in the diagram below), it has a higher Operating Voltage to 600Vdc. It provides protection to electrical equipment by reducing problems due to lightning strikes or power surges. Unit can react in as little as five nanoseconds and begins to conduct when voltage rises above the normal line voltage after a specific time delay and handle an unlimited number of surges.

Use the LA602-DC for surge protection on wires coming from a PV array (especially for high-voltage grid-tie PV arrays.), DC wind generator or DC hydroelectric turbine. All units are waterproof.
